Where the default rates come from
- SMS $0.00747 per segment, calls $0.0166 per outbound minute and $1.15 per local number are from HighLevel's LC Phone pricing and billing guide.
- Email at $0.675 per 1,000 sends is from HighLevel's LC Email guide.
- Voice AI at $0.06 per minute combines the $0.045 engine rate with the $0.015 OpenAI or Cartesia speech rate documented in the Voice AI and Conversation AI pricing breakdown, plus the telephony minute. ElevenLabs voices cost more; edit the rate.
- Plan prices ($97, $297, $497) and the WhatsApp add-on ($10 per month per sub-account plus usage) are HighLevel's list prices. Conversation AI is billed per response and varies by length, so it is not modelled here.
How to read the result
Say an agency on Unlimited runs 10 client accounts, each sending 1,000 SMS, 5,000 emails and 300 call minutes with one number. Usage comes to roughly $17 per account, $170 in total, so the bill is about $467 a month. Charge each client $297 for the platform and the margin is roughly $2,500 a month before ad-management retainers. That is the arithmetic behind the SaaS model; the agencies page covers the rest.
For a single business on Starter, the same sending volume lands near $114 a month all in. Most of the separate tools it replaces cost more than that individually.

Yes, on Agency Pro ($497). SaaS Mode rebills SMS, email and AI usage to clients at a markup you set. On Starter and Unlimited you invoice usage manually or absorb it.
Is Voice AI expensive?
The engine is $0.045 per minute plus $0.015 for standard speech, about $0.06 per minute before telephony. A hundred answered calls of three minutes is roughly $18 to $22 a month. Whether that is expensive depends on what a booked appointment is worth to you.
